Warranty

We warrant that the products sold in our website, other than explicitly stated, are 100% new and free from defects in material and workmanship. Our detailed warranty policy is as follows.

  1. Unless otherwise specified, we warrant our products for 1 year from the date of original purchase under normal use. Replacement items, if issued, do not restart or in any way extend the warranty period.
  2. All items if returned for whatever reasons must be accompanied by a return merchandise authorization (RMA) Number. This number will be issued upon request through info@emergencylighting.ca. Items returned without RMA# will not be accepted.
  3. If you are not satisfied with our product, please contact us through info@emergencylighting.ca to receive an RMA# within 30 days of the original purchase. All products must be returned complete, including all components, manuals, and accessories. We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee on items returned which are not defective. All efforts will be made to confirm correct purchase item before delivery.
  4. Customer must pay return freight, which will be credited if item is found to be defective. C.O.D. packages will not be accepted unless expressly approved in writing.
  5. A replacement or refund will be arranged for all defective parts upon verification of defect.
  6. Shipping fees will not be refundable once product has left E.L.S.

Return Policy

It is our goal to provide our customers with 100% satisfaction. If, for any reason you are not satisfied with the product purchased, please contact us within 30 days by email or telephone and have the purchase information available.

If you return the product with a valid RMA Number within 30 days of purchase, we will refund you the full product price. Shipping costs will be credited as well if it is shown to be as a result of our error. Please see RMA procedures below for return shipments. Where applicable all warranty return requests must be accompanied by the proof of purchase of the product. All returns are for credit or refund and must be made within 30 days of the original purchase. We reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee.

It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the return freight, and to take reasonable care to protect against damage in return shipment.

Return Material Authorization (RMA) Procedures

  1. Obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. We require an RMA Number for processing any return. Requests for return may be made through info@emergencylighting.ca within 30 days of the original purchase. RMA Numbers are only valid for 30 days from time of issue to receipt of product by a recognized shipping company.
  2. The RMA Number should be clearly displayed on the outside of the package. Any package received without a valid RMA Number will be refused.
  3. Return shipment within 30 days. Products must be returned within 30 days of issuance of an RMA. Packages shipped after 30 days will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.
  4. Within reason, repack product in the original packaging. Enclose everything originally received. Place the packaged product in a protective outer box. We must receive all original products in order to process your return or exchange. We are not responsible for products that are damaged due to poor packaging, defaced packaging, or lost shipments. Products must be returned 100% complete, including all components, manuals and accessories.
